It’s my birthday! Check out this delicious cake I got from Dairy Queen:
If anyone’s curious, I spent the day watching a movie with friends using the Netflix Party extension for Google Chrome, and then enjoying Discord chats with people, and later on playing several rounds of Jackbox Games. It was the best possible birthday I could have had without going out or seeing anyone. The cake was shared with my roommates and my girlfriend Divya has also come to isolate with me for week or so. Thank goodness I didn’t have to try to eat the cake all on my own!
Now back to the pandemic news. I tried my hand at creating a chart to show new case reports within single 7-day week time frames. Why break things into groups of 7 days? I feel it helps average out any single day spikes and is better for viewing overall trends. Check it out below:
As you can see we have been showing a decline in new cases week to week for 2 weeks now. This is very encouraging data, and will hopefully prove to be an ongoing trend. Let’s keep an eye on it going forward.
