Health Canada: Pfizer Vaccine Decision Coming Soon
After yesterday’s announcement that the UK had given Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine emergency approval for use, Health Canada has made its own statement today:
While there is no official target date provided, it seems likely that we can expect to hear more from Health Canada in the coming days to weeks.
Of course, Pfizer is not the only vaccine candidate that has been submitted for emergency use approval. So far Health Canada reports 4 possible vaccines that are currently under consideration:

Today Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced a 3-phase rollout plan for the vaccine in their province. Each phase will break down as follows:
So far neither Premier John Horgan or BC Public Health have announced specific vaccine rollout plans for our province, but all the details shared so far confirm at least a similar timeframe and priority group list.
