Today I went shopping for more supplies at Metropolis. Many stores in the mall remain closed, but some have re-opened with strict rules on how many can be in the store at once. Distanced lineups outside doors can be seen here and there.
There are also a lot of stickers and guides encouraging distancing, and to not touch the touch-screen maps.
Many of the closed stores also now have signs saying they will be re-opening soon.
In other news AstraZeneca, a lab in the UK, is hoping to have 30k doses of a COVID-19 vaccine ready for September. They’re doing human trials now, and ramping up production already under the assumption that the current trials will perform as expected. It’s a gamble, but could save countless lives if they are correct. More info here.
